The starting point

Your day at Mont Saint-Michel starts here

A calm spot before the crowds. Time to collect your Lunch Box, discover the local produce, and set off without having forgotten anything.

Collection Monday to Saturday, 10am – 7pm Regional produce shop Tables in the shade A few minutes from the shuttles

You arrive. It is quiet — you cannot hear the crowds at the Mont yet.

Your Lunch Box is waiting, with your name on it. You push open the shop door, you taste a cider, you leave with two or three things you had not planned on.

You sit down for five minutes in the shade. You check that you have everything.

Then you head for the Mont. Without rushing, without looking for anything.

What you came here to do:

pick up a meal, one more errand

the first step of your visit

Before the shuttles, before the footpath, before the ramparts: a place to take five minutes and start the day properly. It is a small thing, and it changes the whole day.

One single stop

Everything is ready in one place

  1. You arrive

At La boutique Produits Régionaux LEFRANC, a few minutes' walk from the free shuttle departure point and from the footpath to reach Mont Saint-Michel on foot.

  2. You collect your Lunch Box

Prepared the same morning by my local producers, handed over in a bag with your name on it. You show your confirmation, and that is it.

  3. You discover the shop

Ciders, calvados, cheeses, Norman specialities. Your first taste of the region, before you have even seen the Mont.

  4. You take a moment

Tables, chairs and parasols in front of the shop. Time for a coffee, a map to look at, a child's shoes to put back on.

  5. You set off for the Mont

With the audio-guide in your ears and lunch in your bag. The day can begin.

Three generations
La boutique Produits Régionaux LEFRANC, near Mont Saint-Michel

La boutique Produits Régionaux LEFRANC

For more than three generations, the LEFRANC family has been introducing the region's specialities to the people who pass through here. This is not a souvenir shop: it is a family business that passes on a terroir, from parents to children.

All I do is add something to it. You come to collect your Lunch Box, you leave with a cider, a cheese, a story. That encounter is what makes the place — not me.

Somewhere to sit down, quite simply

Tables, chairs and parasols are set up in front of the shop. Before you leave, to plan the day. On the way back, to catch your breath before hitting the road.

It is not a restaurant with table service: it is a free-access space for my customers, meant as a quiet pause.

Your questions

Collection, parking and meals

Where do I collect my Lunch Box?
At La boutique Produits Régionaux LEFRANC, a few minutes' walk from the free shuttle departure point and from the footpath to reach Mont Saint-Michel on foot. You show your order confirmation and you are done.
What are the collection times?
Online orders are collected Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm. The shop itself welcomes you every day, but orders placed on the website are not collected on Sundays.
Can I collect my order on a Sunday?
No. Please choose a collection date between Monday and Saturday. If you are here on a Sunday, the shop stays open and a small selection is available subject to the day's stock, without ordering ahead.
Can I park on site?
A few parking spaces are offered to my customers, subject to availability. This is not a public car park and I can never guarantee that a space will be free: it is a convenience, not a reason to come.
Can I come just to park?
No. Those few spaces go with a Lunch Box order or a visit to the shop. That is what keeps the place calm.
How do I keep my Lunch Box cool?
Your box is handed over in a named bag, ready to carry. If you plan to eat it several hours after collection, slip it into a small cool bag. That is the only accessory to plan for.
Do I need a bottle opener?
For the Découverte format, yes: some local drinks come in capped glass bottles. The Balade format, with its bottle of water, needs nothing.
Can we eat on site?
Yes. Tables, chairs and parasols are set up in front of the shop, in free access for my customers. It is not a restaurant with table service.
Can I buy without having ordered?
A selection stays available directly in the shop, with a smaller choice depending on the day's stock. Ordering the day before remains the safest option.
Is Le Bun du Mont served hot?
No. Le Bun du Mont is filled and served cold, designed as a fresh meal that is easy to carry.

You cannot make up for a day that started badly.

Collection, parking and lunch near Mont Saint-Michel

Every year, millions of visitors look for somewhere to park and somewhere to eat around Mont Saint-Michel. On busy days, finding a pleasant place to stop quickly becomes complicated. That is why Lunch Box du Mont is based within La boutique Produits Régionaux LEFRANC, a few minutes' walk from the free shuttle departure point and from the footpath that leads to the Mont.

You collect your meal, prepared the same morning, Monday to Saturday between 10am and 7pm; you discover a family shop of regional produce run by the same family for more than three generations; and you set off to explore the Merveille with a light mind. On the way back, the tables set up in front of the shop offer a quiet pause, away from the bustle. A few parking spaces are offered to my customers on site, subject to availability: a convenience reserved for people who order a Lunch Box or come into the shop, never a public car park.

As for the food, three menus prepared each morning with local products: La Baguette du Mont for a French-style picnic, Le Bun du Mont filled and served cold, and Le Bowl du Mont for a complete, balanced meal. Each box is handed over in a named bag, ready to go. Bring a small cool bag if you plan to eat several hours later, and a bottle opener for the drinks in the Découverte format. The quantities prepared each day are deliberately limited to guarantee freshness: ordering online in advance is what secures your choice.
