Lunch Box du Mont was not born in an office or from a purely commercial mindset.
The idea was born here, in the region of Mont Saint-Michel.
Having lived in southern Manche for over 10 years and having had the opportunity to work at the Mont for several years, I was fortunate to discover this place from different perspectives: that of the residents, that of tourism professionals, but also that of visitors arriving for the first time.
Over time, I observed a simple reality: for many visitors, arriving at Mont Saint-Michel is a magical moment... and sometimes a little disorienting.
Between parking, shuttles, the walk to the village and then to the Abbey, sometimes even into the Bay, and organizing the day, the question of lunch often comes too late in the planning.
A desire to offer another way to visit
By regularly returning to the site, an idea began to take shape.
What if I offered you a simple solution to accompany your visit?
An easy-to-carry packed lunch, prepared with local products, which you could pick up before heading to the Mont, or after your visit to continue the day in the Bay.
A way to simplify your day's organization while allowing more room for what truly matters: discovering the place.
And very quickly, the idea evolved.
Mont Saint-Michel is not just a tourist site. It is also a place rich in history, landscapes, and imagination.
The walk between the car parks and the Mont is already part of the experience. It's a moment of transition, where one gradually leaves the modern world to approach the medieval village.
It was from this idea that my desire to offer you simple and accessible audio guidance was born, to enrich this unforgettable arrival!
